Robbins Maritime, Inc. is a leading tug and barge company, established in 1986 and headquartered in Norfolk, VA. We specialize in providing reliable and efficient maritime support services along the East Coast and Gulf Coast of the United States.

·         Engine Expertise: Maintain and repair Cummins, Caterpillar, John Deere engines as well as outboard motor experience

·         Systems Knowledge: Handling low voltage electrical systems, pneumatic air systems, hydraulic systems, and plumbing systems           efficiently.

·         Welding and Cutting

·         Safety and Environmental Protection: Uphold crew safety, vessel safety, and environmental protection standards.

·         Machinery Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repair of all vessel machinery, equipment, and structural components within engineering spaces.

·         Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)

·         Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

·         Willingness to travel and spend time out of town on repairs as needed

·         Valid Driver License

·         Valid TWIC Card

·         Must have a Satisfactory Background Check

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

·         Physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of working on a vessel

·         Subject to Random Drug Screening
